At NACCA, we believe that empowering Indigenous women means strengthening families, economies, and futures. Through the Indigenous Women’s Entrepreneur (IWE) Program, we create space for women to thrive and prosper through business.
What is the IWE Program?
Launched in March 2022, the IWE Program is delivered through over 30 Indigenous Financial Institutions (IFIs) across Canada. It’s designed to support Indigenous women entrepreneurs at every stage of their business journey—from idea to growth.
Since 2022, Indigenous Financial Institutions have delivered over 5,000 advisory services, training to nearly 5,000 participants, and approved over 600 loans valued at over $11.4 million.
